Description: We are grateful to have worked on the renovation of this beautiful, ornate three-story historical building, which became the home of well-known San Jose attorneys Hopkins and Carley.

We were contracted to perform the selective demolition, seismic retrofit, shoring, framing, and basement addition. The addition of a full basement in the sixteen thousand square foot building presented significant challenges including intense and creative shoring procedures for the entire four-story building, careful construction sequencing, and the removal and replacement of existing structural members. The building is breathtaking addition to downtown San Jose.
